Cole Wins 100 Meters at Virginia Challenge
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Kai Cole added another victory to a spectacular senior season over the weekend, winning the 100-meter dash to lead the Spartans at the Virginia Challenge. Cole clocked a time of 10.34 seconds in the event on Friday, beating Pitt’s Darren McQueen by one hundredth of a second for the title. Isaac Haywood took seventh in the triple jump on Saturday, recording a mark of 49 feet, five inches. Rodric Cox-Cooper II placed 14 th (47-0.75).
