Dukes Stymied by Hawks
PHILADELPHIA -- The Duquesne University lacrosse team suffered a 17-5 loss at Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon in Atlantic 10 action. The Dukes tallied back-to-back free position goals by Corinne Webb and Lizzie Cleary in the last two minutes of the first quarter to narrow the early deficit to 3-2. Saint Joseph's answered by scoring the next 13 goals to take command of the contest, holding Duquesne off the board until the seven minute mark of the fourth quarter.
