Gardner’s Home Run Seals Senior Day Win Over Bethune-Cookman
MONTGOMERY, Ala. | Jaeda Gardner hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to help Alabama State softball earn a 4-3 win over Bethune-Cookman on Senior Day at the Barbara Williams Softball complex. Junior Charity Bibbs (12-12) got the win out of the bullpen for Alabama State (23-26, ). The right-hander went six innings, giving up three runs, all of them earned, on four hits, allowing three walks and striking out four. In the batter’s box, the Hornets were paced by sophomore Alana Scott, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a triple, a home run and two RBI.…
