Late Night Quarterfinal Battle Ends with a 4-1 Loss
DALLAS, Texas – The Florida Atlantic Owls' women's tennis team, ranked No. 63 nationally, saw their inaugural bid for an American Athletic Conference championship come to an end late Friday night. The No. 6 seeded Owls fell to Memphis, a No. 3 tourney seed, by a 4-1 score. Florida Atlantic conceded the doubles point to the Tigers and then began singles play with Memphis taking the middle courts in straight sets.
