No. 6 Washburn plays strong final sets to top Southeastern Oklahoma State 4-3
EDMOND, Okla. — No. 6 Washburn men’s tennis trailed early in the match but rallied in the final two sets of singles play to win 4-3 over Southeastern Oklahoma State in Edmond. The Ichabods put an eleven-match winning streak on the line on Sunday against Southern Arkansas at 10 a.m. In doubles action Washburn (15-3) got out to a quick advantage as No. 37 Daniel Bird and Sebastian Pjontek came away with a 6-1 win from No. 2.
