Softball Swept by ONU

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University softball team dropped two games to Ohio Northern on Saturday by final scores of 8-4 and 11-4. The results push the Comets back to 10-10 on the year and 5-7 in the conference while the Polar Bears are now 20-10 overall and 9-3 in the OAC. In game one, the Comets offense struggled to get going for much of the game as they went to the bottom of the seventh inning trailing 8-0. In that frame Cap tried a comeback, scoring four times but ultimately, ONU shut the door to finish off the win.…
