SUNY New Paltz Softball Claim Fourth Straight SUNYAC Sweep in Series Win Over Plattsburgh

Plattsburgh, NY — The State University of New York at New Paltz used two stout pitching performances from its top two arms in Lindsay Roman and Sydney Waldon to earn its fourth-straight SUNYAC sweep, earning 2-0 and 7-2 wins over hosting Plattsburgh. SUNY New Paltz (22-4 overall, 8-0 SUNYAC) gave Roman an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first thanks to a two-RBI single up the middle by Rhionna Bianchini who platted Maddie Anderson and Jaycee Filancia.
