SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Even after dropping the double's point to the University of Mount Olive Trojans (8-9, 5-3 Conference Carolinas), the Converse University women's tennis team (7-12, 2-6 Conference Carolinas) battled back to win three singles matches, narrowly dropping the Founder's-Day match 4-3. Sophomores Anna Trace and Sofia Giraldo-Jimenez opened the double's point with a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles.
