ONEONTA, NY – The Alfred University women’s lacrosse team competed in their final road game of the regular season, falling to Hartwick College 17-4 on Saturday. Amelia Booth (Staatsburg, NY/FDR) led Alfred University with a pair of goals. Alescia Nitti (Brewster, NY/Brewster) and Hailey Stroh (Houghton, NY/Homeschool) each finished the game with one goal. Alyssa Piechota (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) recorded 18 saves in goal for AU. “We had a tough time taking care of the ball early and Hartwick was able to capitalize,” Head Coach Julie Decker said.
