WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitworth women’s tennis was knocked out of the Northwest Conference tournament with a 5-0 loss to top-seeded Whitman on Saturday in the semifinals. The Blues (15-7, 8-0 NWC) remain unbeaten in conference play, and they’ll make their second straight NWC championship appearance on Sunday. Whitworth (9-9, 4-4 NWC) dropped their second match of the season to Whitman, neither were particularly close.
