WTEN: Tigers Drop ACC Quarterfinals Match to No. 13 NC State
CARY, N.C. – The 12th-seeded Clemson Women’s Tennis team (13-13) ended their ACC Championship tournament run on Friday as they lost 4-0 against fourth-seeded and 12th-ranked NC State (20-7). The match began outdoors at Cary Tennis Park, but was moved to Duke’s indoor courts midway through singles due to weather. The Tigers were playing for a third straight day after back-to-back wins against Boston College and Georgia Tech, earning a berth in the ACC Quarterfinals for the first time since the 2017 season.
