#4 Wesleyan Leaves Bobcats Seeing Red as Cardinals Secure 18-5 Triumph

LEWISTON, Maine — #4 Wesleyan University secured its seventh-straight victory Sunday as the visiting Cardinals coasted to an 18-5 road win vs. Bates College in NESCAC women’s lacrosse action. 12 different players found the back of the net for Wesleyan (12-2, 7-2 NESCAC), led by Olivia Lai (Gr.-Basking Ridge, N.J.) and Sam DeLeon (Jr.-Brewster, N.Y.) with four points (3 goals, 1 assist) apiece. Lai now leads the Cardinals with 42 goals on the season (5th in NESCAC).
