Baseball Falls to Chicago in Final Game of Series
GALESBURG, Illinois – The Prairie Fire baseball team dropped the final game of the three game series against Chicago on Sunday afternoon. Knox took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on an RBI groundout from Aidan McMurtrie to score Etienne Thomas. Prairie Fire starting pitcher Sammy Garcia threw four scoreless innings before the Maroons got to him in the fifth. He left the game with just two earned runs in 4.1 innings pitched.
