Baseball falls to Hampden-Sydney on senior day
DANVILLE, Va. — Averett University baseball fell to Hampden-Sydney College 16-4 in Game 1 and 17-6 in Game 2 of its senior day doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. Averett (8-25, 4-14 ODAC) was down 5-0 going into the bottom of the third inning. Junior Kevin Zischke smoked a double into left field and later took third on a passed ball.
