Baseball Swept at Iowa
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Rutgers baseball fell in Sunday’s series finale to Iowa by a score of 5-1 at Duane Banks Field. The Scarlet Knights (23-16, 3-9) were shut down by a strong pitching performance from the Hawkeyes (22-15, 9-6), who finished off the series sweep. Iowa got on the board with three runs in the bottom of the third. After the Hawkeyes loaded the bases, a fielder’s choice and two-run triple made it 3-0.
