ELMHURST, Ill. – The Elmhurst University softball team dropped a pair of CCIW contests to Millikin University Sunday afternoon at Salt Creek Park. Elmhurst (10-20, 1-9 CCIW) dropped game one by a score of 1-0 after a seventh-inning rally fell short, and briefly took a lead in game two but ended up giving up the lead to fall, 4-2. The Bluejays were able to work out of multiple jams in game one, limiting Millikin (18-12, 6-4 CCIW) to just one run, and were able to start a rally in the seventh.
