Broncos Shine at Jesse Owens Classic

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Western Michigan track and field team continued its strong outdoor season by posting more PR’s, along with Kayla Schiera earning the second best 1,500-meter run time in program history. Schiera crossed the finish line in a time of 4:24.23, missing the school record by less than half a second. Annalise James and Lillian Zelasko were able to earn PR’s in the race, notching times of 4:35.29 and 4:39.35, respectively. Danielle Rinn concluded the race with a time of 4:36.99.
