WHEATON, Ill. – The Carroll University women’s track and field team placed seventh at the 13-team Wheaton Twilight on Saturday. Vanessa Uitenbroek placed second in the discus with a distance of 45.21 meters (148-4) and was third in shot put with 13.36 meters (43-10) to lead the Pioneers, who scored 26 points. Uitenbroek is currently ranked third in NCAA Division III in shot put, fourth in discus and 17th in hammer throw.
