BALTIMORE, Md. - The Norfolk State softball team played Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opponent Coppin State for the final time this season on Sunday at the Coppin State Softball Complex. The Spartans (4-39, 3-15 MEAC) took on the third seeded Eagles (19-16, 14-4 MEAC) losing 9-0 in five innings. Rylie Gilbreath, who is ranked fourth in the MEAC in hits, recorded her 45th hit of the season leading off the first inning.
