Eagles score 24 runs, win Saturday’s double-header

The Chadron State College softball team won Saturday’s double-header against the Adams State Grizzlies 9-8 in game one before being victorious 15-5 in game two in Alamosa, Colorado. CSC improves to 9-35 overall and 9-25 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The Grizzlies are now 5-42 overall and 3-35 in the RMAC. Trailing 9-2, the Grizzlies scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to threaten a comeback in game one but Brooklyn Levin earned her first career save in relief of Kenzi Garner during the win. Chadron State began scoring in the top of the second inning.…
