Foresters Take Two from Scots on Saturday

The Monmouth College softball team lost 14-2 and 8-0 at MWC leader Lake Forest on Saturday. The Foresters plated eight runs in the first inning of game one and added five more in the third. The Scots trailed 14-0 going into the fifth when pinch-hitter Ashley Juerjens (Delavan, Illinois) walked with one out. Kendall Lewis (Cambridge, Illinois) reached on an error and both runners moved up on a wild pitch before Grace Wyman (Pekin, Illinois) walked.
