COLUMBUS, Ga. | Georgia College & State University and Columbus State Unversity split a Peach Belt Conference baseball doubleheader Saturday (April 20) afternoon at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. The Cougars took the opener 8-1 before the Bobcats won the nightcap 7-5 with two runs in the top of the ninth inning to claim the three-game series. The Bobcats improved to 26-18 overall and to 16-8 in the Peach Belt, while the Cougars slipped to 28-19 amd 14-10.
