Hatters Fall in Series Finale to FGCU

FORT MYERS, FLA. - Stetson softball fell to Florida Gulf Coast 3-2 Sunday afternoon. The Hatters jumped on the board early when Lath Freeman singled to center field bringing Addison Foster around to score. Lauren Hobbs gave up two hits in the bottom half of the first but was able to keep the Eagles off the scoreboard. In the top of the 2 nd , Foster doubled to left center bringing Gia Napoli to the plate from first to give Stetson a 2-0 lead. Hobbs got Florida Gulf Coast to go 1-2-3 in the bottom half.
