Jags Compete at Georgia Tech Invitational – Jaynes Sets New 5k School Record
ATLANTA, GA — The Augusta University men's track and field team competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational this weekend. Junior Avery Jaynes continues to set the standard for distance running, setting a new personal best and breaking the school record for the 5k. Jaynes shaved almost three seconds of the Augusta school record time in the 5000m, turning in a time of 14:28.08 to finish third in the loaded Division I field.
