Kutztown’s Kiana Young Makes History in Women’s Track & Field at Coach Pollard Invitational
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Sophomore sprinter Kiana Young (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) had a historic day, breaking the school record in the 200m, as the Kutztown University track & field squad competed at the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University in Bethlehem on Saturday. The East Stroudsburg native ran a blazing 25.05 in the 200m, good enough for third place, a PSAC qualifying mark, and the school record. She breaks Kelly Groth’s previous record of 25.21 set at the Charlotte 49er Classic back in 2019. Young also set a time of 12.01 in the 100m, the second fastest in school history.…
