Mavs Lose To Regis, Clinch Second In RMAC
DENVER – Colorado Mesa women’s lacrosse was unable to overcome a strong first quarter by the No. 7-ranked Regis Rangers, losing 16-7 in the second-to-last RMAC game of the regular season. Justine Anderson and Elizabeth Renken each scored twice to lead the offensive output for the Mavericks. Shannon Murphy made seven saves in goal for CMU. The Mavericks, who saw their four-game winning streak snapped, fall to 8-5 overall and 7-2 in the RMAC, with both losses coming to Regis.
