DOTHAN, Ala. – The Central Arkansas men’s golf team started the ASUN Championships in second place after round one, leaning on two golfers in the top-10. Mark Stockdale ended the day in second, and Palmer McSpadden finds himself in sixth after 18 holes. Stockdale, in his freshman season, posted a 2-under 70 on Sunday, tallying five birdies. He sits three strokes off the leader headed into round two. McSpadden finished his first round just a stroke off of Stockdale, penciling in two birdies at a 1-under 71.
