Men’s tennis tops UW-Eau Claire, 7-2

Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton men’s tennis team hosted UW-Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference match. The Thunder defeated the Bluegolds 7-2. The Thunder No. 2 doubles team of Jacob Williams and Joey Geisz earned an 8-5 victory against the UWEC team of Ryan Fonseca and Otto Schluter. The Wheaton tandem of Michael Walmer and Tim Steiner earned an 8-2 victory against Pablo Rincon and Sam Murillo at No. 3 doubles.
