Morris wins pole vault; Wright, Covaney take second in events at Mountain Laurel
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Freshman Wrenna Morris won the pole vault, sophomore Cydney Wright placed second in the shot put and junior Jocelyn Covaney finished second in the 100-meer hurdles for Sewanee women’s track and field Saturday at the Mountain Laurel Invitational. Morris cleared 9-feet, 6.25-inches to win the pole vault while Wright posted a mark of 36-11 for second place in the shot put.
