Nebraska softball falls to Michigan in nine-inning battle
The Huskers traveled to Ann Arbor Friday night for a three-game series against conference foe Michigan. For the third time in the last five games, Nebraska entered extra innings with its opponent but, for the second time, fell short. The Wolverines forced two ties in the game while also taking the lead twice, once in the first inning and once in the ninth inning, the go-ahead run. Nebraska stranded a runner at second base in the top of the ninth inning before Michigan hit a walk-off home run for the win. The Wolverines stranded 15 base runners in the game...
