Shofner Wins ASC Individual Title, Comets Runner-Up

GRANBURY, Texas – UT Dallas senior Daniel Shofner won the individual title at the 2024 American Southwest Conference Championship in a playoff at The Nutcracker Golf Course Sunday afternoon. Shofner, who shot a 69-70=139 for a -4, tied Concordia Texas’ Parker Smith after two rounds, but earned medalist after making a birdie on the first playoff hole. Meanwhile, the #14 Comets were the runner-up as a team after a one-hole team playoff with LeTourneau. UTD shot a 294-281=575, for a +3.
