Softball Captures Series Win over Merrimack on Senior Day

The Central Connecticut softball team celebrated senior day with a series win over Merrimack with an 8-2 victory at CCSU Softball Field. Kaylee Whittaker (11-6) earned her eleventh win of the season after giving up six hits and two runs in 7.0 innings pitched. The Blue Devils tallied nine hits and drove in seven runs to earn the series win. Gorman, Stringer, and Cino had two hits each. Jazmine Lasane had a triple and three RBIs on the day.
