SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Keene State College softball team had the go-ahead run at third base with less than two outs in the eighth inning of the opener and then rallied back from a 6-0 deficit to force a tie in the second contest, but ultimately could not come out on the right end of either one, dropping 1-0 (8 innings) and 7-6 finals at Western New England University Sunday afternoon at Golden Bear Park.
