Softball Falls to Wingate on the Road

Wingate, NC- LMU Softball fell to Wingate on the road today, April 20th, in their doubleheader by scores of 1-2 and 3-11. The first game would be a tight one, LMU's defense would back up Margot van Eijl on the mound to hold an explosive Wingate team scoreless until the sixth inning. Despite a quiet first few innings, Lincoln Memorial would strike first, Nicole Couvertiere hitting an RBI single in the top of the fourth to score Madison Henry for a 1-0 lead.
