Stumpf lifts Colonels past Vikings in SAA Semifinals

DANVILLE, Ky.- On Sunday afternoon, the second seeded Centre women’s lacrosse team hosted the third seeded Berry in the Southern Athletic Association’s (SAA) Semifinal game. After a close contest the entire way, Centre eliminated Berry with an identical score to their meeting in the regular season, winning 15-14. The Gold & White will advance to the SAA Championship game on Sunday, Apr. 28 th in Memphis. HIGHLIGHTS – The Vikings controlled the opening period, outscoring the Colonels 7-2 in the frame.
