Tomcats fall to Purple Raiders
GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College baseball team dropped a non-conference game to the Mount Union Purple Raiders, 13-2, Sunday afternoon at Tomcat Park. Mount Union got on the board in the second inning, before the Purple Raiders added four more in the third, which would be enough for the win. Mount Union added six runs in the sixth and two in the eighth innings. Thiel was led by Yoshinori Hashimoto (Tokyo, Japan/Arakawa) who went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
