Track & Field squads place second at Phil Esten Invitational

La Crosse, Wis. (www.blugolds.com) – The University of Wisocnsin-Eau Claire track and field teams were back in action this weekend at the Phil Esten Challenge at UW-La Crosse. Mitch Stegeman led the way for the decathletes placing first with a score of 6871 points. Max Foland was close behind Mitch, finishing in third place. Emilee Booker bested the field of heptathletes with her winning score of 3414 points. Yakob Ekoue won another triple crown, winning the Shot Put (17.29m), Hammer Throw (58.19m), and Discus (53.47m).
