Tremble’s blast powers Hobart’s shut out of Clarkson
POTSDAM, N.Y.— Sophomore Richard Tremble’s second inning home run provided all of the offense the Hobart pitching staff needed this afternoon. Sophomore Teck Nash , sophomore Max Friedlander and junior Nicholas Franceschi combined to shut out Clarkson in a 3-0 Liberty League West win for the Statesmen. With first-year Connor Schmiedlin on base, Tremble, who missed all of last season due to injury, hit his first collegiate home run in just his sixth career at bat, giving Hobart an early 2-0 lead.
