Valkyries Send Seniors Out in Style With 5-2 Victory over FMU

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Behind four strong singles showings and a team effort to win the doubles point, the Converse University women's tennis team (8-13, 3-6 Conference Carolinas) won a 5-2 victory over the Francis Marion Patriots (7-10, 3-6 Conference Carolinas). Graduate Tonya Glogowski-Watson and sophomore Lais Martins took a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. With the doubles point coming down to No. 2 doubles, sophomore Khushi Kharb and senior Natalie White won a 7-6 gauntlet, taking the tiebreaker 7-3.
