Warhawk Men Third at Meet of Champions

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men’s track and field team finished third in a 24-team field at the Meet of Champions hosted by Augustana College Friday and Saturday. Shelvin Garrett II (Beloit, Wis./Memorial) won both the long jump and triple jump to pace the Warhawks at the meet. Garrett II recorded a mark of 15.22 meters (49-11.25) in the triple jump — that mark is third-best in Division III this season.
