Wildcats drop road contest to Bearcats

SALEM, Ore. – Willamette surged to an early lead and never looked back in a wire-to-wire 19-6 Northwest Conference victory over Linfield on Sunday afternoon at Sparks Field. Star Pfleiger led the offense with two goals. Maya Wright , Gabby Crist , Mackenzie Kulick and Madison De La Trinidad each scored on goal. Crist led the Wildcats in groundballs (5) and assists (2). Kelsey Reinemer led the Linfield defense with three caused turnovers. Tenley Hodge totaled 10 saves on 38 shots faced. Claire Kisielnicki led the Bearcats with five goals while Brooklynn Pearl and Lily Bachiochi scored four goals each.…
