HARROGATE, TENN. - The Newberry College baseball team (21-25, 15-12) dropped a pair of games Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Memorial, 14-3 and 12-4. Junior outfielder Donovan Ford went 3-for-6 with a triple, two stolen bases, a run scored and another driven in while extending his hitting streak to 25 games. He is six hits away from becoming the ninth player in Newberry history to collect 200 career hits. Kade Faircloth also had hits in each game, going 3-for-5 with a run scored and a run batted in.
