Women’s Golf Places Fifth
The New York University women’s golf team finished fifth at the Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst College this weekend, April 20-21, at the Orchards Golf Course in Amherst, MA. After shooting 21-over par in the first round yesterday, the Violets shot 29-over today to record 626 strokes over the weekend, six behind fourth-placed Williams College. Nalinda Wanikpun remained the Violets’ highest finisher but fell to fifth place after equaling the course’s 72-par yesterday, shooting seven-over.
