SURPRISE, Ariz. - After a hard fight on Saturday, the Cougars fell to #5 seed Academy of Art 4-0 in the Championship match of the PacWest tournament at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Club in Surprise, Arizona. To start doubles play, Shannele Lopez and Katherine Nguyen fell 6-2 on No. 3, but #3 ranked Madison Kane and Miruna Tudor evened it up with a 7-5 victory at No. 1.
