Zygowski Nets School Record with Save and Win in Sweep of UWL
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. – The No. 22 UW-Stevens Point softball team (23-3, 3-1) pulled out a sweep of UW-La Crosse (15-17, 1-5) in league action on Saturday. The Pointers won game one, 3-1, before securing the sweep with a 4-3 victory in game two. Sophomore Ashley Zygowski (Saukville, Wis./Port Washington) set the single-season school record with her ninth save of the season in game one. Her nine saves leads the country.
