5 best NFL draft fits for Georgia tight end Brock Bowers
New York Jets
Draft pick: No. 10
If you solely look at Bowers as a tight end, this might be confusing. The Jets have decent players in Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert, who they have been high on in the past. Bowers more appropriately should be viewed as a “playmaker”. New York’s starting slot receiver is currently Xavier Gipson, but Bowers could fill that role to an extent. The Jets could run more two tight end sets. A trio of Bowers, Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams is a much better supporting cast than what Aaron Rodgers would have had last year if healthy.
