Boxers fall to No. 1 Whitman in NWC women’s tennis championship match
WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Pacific settled for runner-up in the Northwest Conference after falling to No. 1 Whitman 5-1 Sunday afternoon in the women’s tennis championship match. Cassidy Binder and Sydnie Binder remained undefeated at No. 1 doubles to earn the Boxers only point. The Binder sisters defeated Teleya Blunt and Arianna Castellanos 8-5. Whitman won at No. 2 and 3 doubles as well as 3, 4 and 6 singles to secure the 2024 NWC championship.
