SPAIN – Duke women's golf incoming freshman Anna Cañado Espinal collected a third-place finish recently at the Copa R.C.G. Sotogrande – European Nations Championship, which was contested at the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande in Spain. Cañado, who hails from Barcelona, Spain, turned in rounds of 74, 71, 73 and 71 for a 1-over-par, 289, to finish six shots off the lead.
