Climbers on a 450-Metre 5.13d in the Alpine
In 1997, Arnaud Petit, Stephanie Bodet, Pascal Gaudin and Jean-Paul Petit made the first ascent of Voie Petit, a 450-metre granite alpine route up the east face of Grand Capucin near Chamonix. They resorted to aid for the steepest parts. In 2005, Alexander Huber, who was one of the world’s best big wall climbers at the time, made the first free ascent of Voie Petit at 5.13d.
