Deborah Acheampong Smashes School Record, WT Excels with 28 Personal Bests

CANYON, Texas – In the last home meet of the 2024 outdoor season, West Texas A&M Buffs and Lady Buffs finished the Buffalo Invitation with 28 personal bests across 17 events with freshman Deborah Acheampong setting the school record in the 200-meter race. SETTING RECORDS Deborah Acheampong , of Eastern Region, Ghana, ran the fastest wind legal 200-meter to set the WT school record at 23.30.
